few days ago.  I don't know anything about the National Earth Science
Teachers Association, but I do trust Nelson, so I'm sure this is legitimate.
If any clubs or dealers can help out (especially in the Northeast U.S.),

Bob,
We are developing a relationship with the National Earth Science Teachers
Association- their new Executive Director is in Boulder.
They have asked for specimens they can auction at their upcoming Friends of
Earth Science reception that will be held at this year's annual convention
of the National Science Teachers Association, in Boston the end of March.

Any chance you or other clubs might be interested in donating specimens for
their auction?

There is a short fuse on this event (about 6 weeks) and I would appreciate
your sharing this request with other clubs.
