[Rockhounds] Bead Mill

Hello Everyone: 
I sent a letter a few weeks ago if any body had some information on a bead mill/. It is an older style used with a drill press. Does any body know how much grit to use  do we use water along with it. It was donated to us and we have no instructions  Thanks for your help Robert & Betty
