Sorry about that John, I thought you meant that as funny as it sounded...
I really thought the same as Earl... prisms and rainbows are like Christmas
and eggnog ;-)))
Iridescent would be the proper term, I guess?
Do we use that term for non-metallic stuff?
Still it was one of the better unintentional (and intentional) jokes I ever
heard in the realm of mineralogy.
