It's good to hear from a Colorado fossil collector who likes Paleozoic
stuff! Most of the people I have talked to collect out of the Meso- or
Cenozoic. My only attempt at looking for Paleozoic fossils 21 years ago was
less that fruitful. But it was my honeymoon and we roamed a good chunk of
the state over a couple of weeks. We did collect a lot of minerals. My
wife's lungs cannot handle high elevations for an extended period, so I am
not sure when I'll be able to roam the state in the future.

You should join the Paleo List, too. It is a group of fossil enthusiasts.
