[Rockhounds] looking for taconite

Hi all,


This is a group response to all the members who replied.

I was originally looking for the ore, not the processed pellets, but now 
that I think about it, I could use some of the ore concentrate and 
pellets as well.

I will run x-ray diffraction powder pattern on any of the samples.  On 
the raw rock, I will also have a thin section made.  If anyone sells me 
some or all of these, I will provide copies of the analyses.  The thin 
sections cost about $25 to make, so if someone is interested in one of 
those, I'd negotiate whether they want to take it in trade.

If anyone has a specific offer to sell any or all of the rough rock, 
concentrates, or pellets, contact me off-list.
