Yikes, lots of semantics.

Well, I'm not going to have a mental exercise about what to call them, 
but you should note exactly what you did on the label.  That way a 
future owner can know how to deal with them.  I don't think it is so 
important what you call a treatment as to describe exactly what you did 
and using what materials.
