[Rockhounds] Geode symposium

The Friends of Mineralogy Midwest Chapter Symposium a success. The theme was geodes. The group (about 40 people registered) visited two road cuts and two quarries on Saturday and 21/2 road cuts and one quarry on sunday (today). There were a number of presentations last night connected to the theme. All in all, it was fun, informative and very tiring!
