There is a guy in Oregon who makes a geode clamp, I have seen at rock shows in Prineville, maybe Tim Fisher can remember his name etc....his card used the initials CRS as I recall I have one of his clamps and it works after you have cut the geode in half by catching the edges of the cut so you can now cut slabs
