[Rockhounds] Axel Emmermann

Dear friends,

I was informed by his wife Christel that my good friend Axel Emmermann, as you all know a very active list member, has
been taken to hospital yesterday with some vague health complaints. Today the outcome was that he has been close to a
heart attack, and his situation requires urgent surgery. He will get about 3 bypasses early next week. At present he is
kept in hospital for continuous follow up. Christel told me that he shows a lot of courage, and is convinced that he
will feel much better after the surgery.

In the next coming days/weeks he will, of course, not be able to answer any e-mails, but Christel is keeping an eye on
his computer and inbox, and she will probably take printed messages to the hospital from time to time.
