[Rockhounds] Blue Schist

Hi. I have a specimen of Deerite, from the Laytonville quarry, Mendocino  Co, 
Calif. It is in a dark bluish schist that seems to fit your  mineral's  
description. It was formed at a Jurassic, I think, subduction  area, high
