We all have our peccadilloes right? Well, I certainly have my share and one
of the things I subscribe to is email notices from a site that sells
government surplus. Well, this morning I received a notice for one of the
categories I am interested in, "electronic test equipment". So, I clicked on
it and instead of the simple stuff, like an oscilloscope, I got a listing of
spectrometers.
This site has both required login and has been open; I automatically login
and do not know if the current requirement is to login. So, please be aware
that the site may require registration. The home web site is
http://www.govliquidation.com/. Search for spectrometer and you'll get a
list of about 8 models.
So, if anyone is interested in their own Viking model 620 Diffra
spectrometer, here is the direst link:
httphttp://cgi.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=1297511&convertTo=USD.
Don?
Please, be aware that as in all auctions it is buyer beware. Especially this
auction place as the seller is usually the federal government, and they are
most rigid about rules and regs. I bought one auction item before where the
Federal site was only open for two days a week for about 4 hours a say, and
I had ten days to remove the item.
