Hi
I am aware of the web sites and info about Swatara Gap and the Park
I talked to a friend who was able to collect fossils at the Swatara Gap
- BEFORE it was closed off 'cause
all 'them rockhounds collected and caused damage to 'hillside; (?) along
the highway near the overpass (?)
I understand that a "truckload" (or more) material was moved from the
Gap to the Swatara Park so collectors could
go there and collect.
I was just wondering if anyone has collected at the park - when - and
what they found.
Thankzzzz
GeorgiaO
I also read ( on the 'net'?) that the PA parks were closed 'cause of
money ....
If so - need to check to see if this park is open...
