References: <200911070200.nA720Z1C001788@bubbleator.drizzle.com> Message-ID: I am not a fan of Houston so I got interested when this Montrose issue came up. I am open to the idea of Houston being something more than a soulless, humid, concrete prairie. Any way, I'm reading some group site where TexasHorseLady was talking about the evolving nature of Oak Lawn in Dallas over the years and comparing it favorably with Montrose in Houston. 20 years ago she liked the fact that Oak Lawn was populated by fun-loving pilots and stewardesses. However, the last time she moved to Oak Lawn... "I didn't know one single stewardess or pilot during the time I lived there - it was all hippies and gays and musicians and such." I can't help but wonder what "and such" includes. His latest may be the best - two discs of live shows in 1984 with great sound. Title is The Best Bar Band Ever which is no exaggeration. To order them, contact Tom at tomtaber_14411@yahoo.com. You won't be disappointed.
