Maybe there's no mystery.  Pop (and country) history is loaded with talented, hard working, deserving acts who never got the success they should have.  Sometimes people just never get the right breaks.  Meanwhile Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood are still on the radio.

That is a puzzler. When I first saw him with the Nash Ramblers I thought 
here's another Emmylou sideman slated for the big time. Sure enough in time 
he was releasing an album but just nothing happened. Hard to imagine with 
his talent (singing, songwriting, guitar), looks, and heavy friends what's 
going on. Any ideas? Lorrie Morgan?
