But I am impressed with the intelligence of these 12 songs. In more than just the title, the disc's opening cut, "The Long Way," reminds me of Tupelo's "The Long Cut." I believe fans of the band will enjoy this very much. I have not much hope it will convert many who haven't liked the past work for it seems no great departure.
