[Postcard2] thanks and the bottle rockets

That's to all who welcomed me. 
 
As for the Bottle Rockets, "Lean Forward" it is indeed produced by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, whose work with the group on "The Brooklyn Side" and "24 Hours a Day" I admire so much. The album rocks out fairly strong after just two times through it. I need to be careful how I put this because I've always found the band to have a thoughtful thread running through its music. But I am impressed with the intelligence of these 12 songs. In more than just the title, the disc's opening cut, "The Long Way," reminds me of Tupelo's "The Long Cut." I believe fans of the band will enjoy this very much. I have not much hope it will convert many who haven't liked the past work for it seems no great departure.
