I'm sorry I missed that.? My wife just couldn't take it anymore.
It was my first Costello show BTW.? I'm a fan but not a huge fan.
I loved the band but even they looked bored and not used to full
potential IMO.? Of course, YMMV.? I wasn't into all the covers either.
They were good but I'd rather hear his material.

He did about a 50 minute encore, basically a second set. Covered George

Jones, did bluegrass/country versions of some of his iconic tunes, several more
off the new album.

I personally thought it was one of the best Costello shows I have seen in
the over 30 years I have been going to his concerts. I have seen almost every
phase of his carrer, and this show was just amazing.

Bored? Too bad. How anyone could be bored watching Costello, Jerry Douglas,
Stuart Duncan, Jim Lauderdale, etc. is beyond my realm of understanding.

Maybe you have been more stimulated at the CMT awards with Def Leppard and
the B-52s. Now that's country...

Costello's best line of the night - during the title song of the album he
added a line "Pour some sugar on me", an obvious poke at DL and CMT
