Howdy,

A couple of big name additions this week. First, Elvis Costello's country
CD, Secret, Profane, and Sugarcane

icon], was released a few days ago. It's getting mixed reviews, primarily
because the songs come from a bunch of past efforts and people accuse
Costello of publishing a hodgepodge of songs that don't hang together. That
doesn't bother me a bit. The question is, are there any songs that sound
good on their own and the answer as far as I'm concerned is hell

The other big name release recently is Bob Dylan's Together Through Life

icon]. While I won't say I like this CD as much as Modern Times. I like the
lo-fi blues approach he takes with the songs and there's several good tracks
which I'm working into rotation including a rolling border music sounding
tune called. "This Dream Of You"
