I got the chance to hear and meet Ryan when our local band opened for him last year.  Despite it being a weeknight in a punk-rock club with maybe 20 people (and being on their way to play Letterman the next night), they played an energetic and tight set.  Very gracious guys also.  Love his unique voice.
