[Postcard2] Del McCoury Band

To me there is no better performing band then The Del McCoury Band.  
Last night in Mineral, Virginia these guys played for 2 hours and 10 minutes
straight in about 85 degrees in coat and ties.  You knew they would but 
man it was hot.

Del kept the crowd there to see him do the last set of the festival and 
boy were they rewarded.  Just hard nose bluegrass from start
to finish.  

The Grascals were very good too playing from their new CD and Barry 
Scott & Second Wind blew me away.  Those guys can
sing and play.  Barry used to play with Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver and 
man can that guy sing.  Even had his 11 year old daughter
come up on stage and sing harmony on a new song and she was quite good.

Great day of music, but man it was hot.
