Did I miss discussion of this one? I just picked it up this morning, and am on listen #2. Very impressed with it. Quite a hard rocking disc IMO, and unmistakably AE; trademark guitar touches and a bit of cello there in the distance. Why two references to Louie Louie, I don't know; you'd think Dirty Water or some other tune would have worked for variety. (and kind of funny as we were discussing Louie Louis last night.) Obvious references to the Nuns and Rank & File. Good to hear him back and strong. Looks like he's got some power behind him too; influential friends. I missed the Boxing Mirror, but this album reminds me of some of the AE live shows I've experienced- loud, powerful.

I think I like it so far.
