I read a little blurb about Laura Marling in a recent Paste Magazine and was
intrigued
by whatever they wrote enough to check her out. I liked it well enough that
I downloaded
her album called "Alas I Cannot Swim" and it's a solid work from top to
bottom.
Smilin' Jim would just hate it, but if you have a little folkie bone
somewherein ya, you
might want to give a listen. She's just a young'un at 18, but is already
makaing better
music than a whole lot of people twice her age.
