It usually does. When you get around to investigating New Orleans'  
music, the collection "Mardi Gras in New Orleans Vol. 1" is one place  
to start. It's arguably the best collection of NOLA r&b standards out  
there. I was looking for my lp of it the other day, couldn't find it,  
and discovered that the cd version from mardigrasrecords.com is  
pretty inexpensive - and when I went to their website, I got a popup  
saying their stuff's currently on sale.
