What I find somewhat remarkable is that I've only bought one  reissue so far
this year (the Bear Family set of Porte Wagoner theme albums).  The reason
is that (1) most of the good stuff has been reissued already (2) the major
labels have stopped putting out reissues for the most part (for a variety of
reasons) and (3) the two foreign labels still putting out quality reissues,
Bear Family and Ace, have gotten ridiculously expensive because of the
decline of the dollar.  Still, this is the first time since I started buying
records some 45 years ago that my purchase of reissues has been minimal.
