[Muscle] using smartcards over XDMCP

Hi,

our institute uses several hundred linux thin clients that communicate to
linux terminal servers by X11/XDMCP protocol.
We want to use smart card readers in the near future, but can't find a
solution or software that allows the remote access to smart cards in this
environment. rdp and ica have already solved this, but X11 itself isn't
capable. What about the network capabilites of pc/sc?

I'm very interested in any information on that topic and would be glad if
you could help me.
