[Muscle] Programmer 400 - Debian

Hi,

I have a "Programmer 400" (serial) from dssdooda.com, and I want to be able
to use it from Linux. I am quite new to smart card programming and so far
all the software I was able to find for Linux required pcsc-lite. The
problem is that pcsc-lite does not detect my serial smart card programmer. I
have tried using pySerial and sending the data raw to do a reset and then
sending commands and it works. From what I know it should be quite a generic
serial smart card programmer but I can't find a generic serial smart card
programmer driver on the muscle site. I'm using Debian GNU/Linux, and I've
installed pcsc-lite, libmusclecard, pcscd and all the drivers available in
the repositories. I ran /etc/init.d/pcscd, but still, when I try using an
app that requires pcsc-lite, for instance gscriptor, I get:

Can't create the Chipcard::PCSC object: Service not available.

Any idea on what I should do? Thanks.
