Hi
At first, your reader must be recognized by your system! If hotplug your reader while pcscd is running, is there any response of pcscd?
2008/6/11 fineliuhai <fineliuhai at 163.com>:
Hi,
I can find the directory "/usr/local/pcsc", and pcscd can get libccid. Because if i delete the directory "usr/local/pcsc/drivers", i run 'pcscd -d -f', it returns:
mx31# pcscd -d -f
pcscdaemon.c:295:main() pcscd set to foreground with debug send to stderr
pcscdaemon.c:513:main() pcsc-lite 1.4.99 daemon ready.
hotplug_libusb.c:111:HPReadBundleValues() Cannot open PC/SC drivers directory: /
usr/local/pcsc/drivers
hotplug_libusb.c:112:HPReadBundleValues() Disabling USB support for pcscd.
So I think pcscd can find the drivers, but cannot find the reader, WHY?
Thanks for your reply.
Best regards.
Hai Liu

Hi Fine
Could you find a directory name "/usr/local/pcsc/", if the prefix for you pcsc installation is "/usr/local/". The libccid will be installed here for pcscd to search automatically!

The reader name is Gemplus GemPC Twin 00 00. It can contact with redhat on PC with pcsc-lite-1.4.99 and ccid-1.3.6.
Thanks.
