Not yet. But that is on the TODO list [1] of pcsc-lite.

You can have two problems:
- sizeof(long) is not the same on 32 and 64-bits architectures and
pcsc-lite uses a lot of long fields (should be fixed soon)
- endianess is different on both sides

I don't know if the best place for a remote connection is between
pcscd and libpcsclite or between pcscd and the reader driver.
If you can work on different prototypes we will see what works best.
