[Muscle] GemPC pinpad reader - remaining PIN attempts display

Hi,

(rather obvious problem but can't find it in the archives -- sorry
if I overlooked)

Our GemPC pinpad reader automatically displays 'x remaining PIN tries'
before asking a PIN.

Guess the reader issues a "Verify PIN" APDU with empty PIN buffer for this?

It's a nice feature for cards that support this APDU; but e.g. with the
Belgian eID card this APDU results in a failed PIN verification.
(So if you had only 1 remaining PIN try left, it will block your card..)

Do more readers have this feature? Is there a way to turn it off?
