True.

Two small changes in src/ccid_usb.c made the trick, patch attached.
Some obvious changes in the MacOSX/configure file (10.5 SDK, no  
ifdhandlerv2) and reader.h (remove code not suited for leopard)
and 1.3.1 compiled and installed just fine.

Could it be possible to make an universal CCID driver based on the  
open one and replace the system one? I don't quite follow the bundle  
thing..
