Nonsequitur -- experimental music/sound events

About Nonsequitur
English (USA)

Nonsequitur is a non-profit org presenting events related to experimental music and sound art in the Seattle area. Our interests include contemporary composition, free improvisation, electronic and computer music, sound poetry, field recording, acoustic ecology, sound installations, radio art, historical avant garde, and other genres that defy easy description.

We began as a CD label in 1989 and morphed into a monthly event series in 1998. We relocated from New Mexico to Seattle in 2004, and resumed our activities in collaboration with various co-presenters in the NW. Learn more about what we've been doing at http://nseq.blogspot.com

As of March 2007 we sponsor the Wayward Music concert series in the Chapel at Good Shepherd Center ten times per month. Info at http://waywardmusic.blogspot.com

Subscribers to this list will receive information about events in this series, and occasional news regarding projects by composer/sound artist Steve Peters, Nonsequitur's Director.

Subscribers can expect to receive 1-3 announcements per week. SUBSCRIBERS CAN NOT POST MESSAGES TO THIS LIST! (forget what it says below)
